    What is the best way to remove thermal paste before applying new thermal paste?

    turn on the pc for 10mins or so , so that it heats up and is easier to remove
    Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... That's what gets you.

    You can get stuff for removing it, arctic cooling makes some.

    I use Isopropyl alcohol and a very soft cloth or handy Towel.

    You can buy it from the local chemist, and its good for cleaning dirty CD/DVD's as well - lasts for ages.

    last bottle I brought was about $16 for 500Ml.
