    Default recovering Bookmarks

I recently installed the Beta ver of Firefox imported my Bookmarks (from Firefox ver 3.0.10) automatically which is great. I later decided to uninstall the Beta ver and go back to my FF 3.0.10 but only to find that all my bookmarks are gone. Used Vista's system restore to restore to earlier points before I uninstalled the Beta FF, although Vista says it has restored successfully but the Beta FF isn't there anymore! I thought I could restore it and backup the bookmarks before uninstalling the beta FF but sadly, it's gone.

Is there a way to recover my old book marks?

Have you physically looked to see if your bookmarks are still present?
