    Question Compaq CMOS floppy disks

Anyone know where I can download the cmos partition recovery diskettes. I've looked on compaq's website but only get Windows drivers. I've replaced the hard drive in a 5WV450.

    Thanks,
    J.

You can't. You'd have to ring them and they will SELL you a set.
If its not older than 3 years that is.
Otherwise you'll have to do it manually.
    wipe your paws.

Haven't had to do that in the past - just got the file and put on 2 disks. I was eventually fast enough to press F-Lock F10 (older/non MS keyboard would have been better without the F-Lock crap). So this computer doesn't need the bios partition after all.
