    Default Wireless router/modem

I have just purchased a Linksys wireless-G adsl home gateway modem.Conditional on WDS capability.

Question 1 it is called model No wag200g. The linksys Aussie site does not recognise this model so it must be the same as ????

Question 2 I need this wag 200g to service a Wireless Distribution System point in another room. I haven't found any linksys data sheet that says it will, or it won't! The forum they have is not much help.

    PF1ers will have an answer.

    Thanks in advance

By default its an access point, transmitter only, so no, it cannot function as a repeater(WDS)

If you want a WDS, grab the Asus WL-520gC or 520gU for <$100, then chuck DD-WRT or (ideally) Tomato fimware on it
