looks good
any reason you use publisher?
Looks good Sweep - works well.
Maybe you and hueybot3000 could give the site designers of PF1 some hints on fast loading![]()
you reffering to the forum or actual articles etc? as for forum id say largely due to ads and secondly the server the database the forum uses is on might not be up to the task, or needs a clean up
Looks good Sweep.![]()
better Dredd then dead
Looks fine - I'm not so keen on the heading though. I don't like looking at the colours and the shading of the "Tokoroa Golf Club Inc New Zealand".
That's just me though.
Te audire no possum. Musa sapientum fixa est in aure.
Yes there is. Mostly because I have it and it works for me. I do not try to design commercial sites and I just try to find out what people/members want and go from there.
I have used Frontpage in the past and I do not know a lot about styles, HTML, CSS, Javascript etc. I could put some HTML in there if required.
Probably or possibly crappy code generated by Publisher but the Web Site works for people looking for Golf in Tokoroa.
Tried to keep the fonts each the same on every page and give the information for people searching.
sweet as
i should of asked why you use publisher and not frontpage. I used publisher way back when i started with my learnings but found frontpage alot more flexible
looks good though!
It seems to load OK even for people on dial up.
There is more work to do yet on my part but as usual I have to find out what the committee wants.
No Adverts on the site yet and as I understand it there will not be. I still have to add two more pages like Open Golf Tournaments for 2009. Also latest news about who won what and when.
Not bad at all, I just don't like the background cos it doesn't seem to golf-y and makes the page look really dated.
All the technology and software in the universe is useless when the end user has the IQ of a sack of hammers.
