Default Whats a good free music player?

I just bought some decent speakers and have lots of music but only using Windows Media Player. What suggestions do you have about a decent player to bring out the best>
    Thanks.
It's so much easier to suggest solutions when you don't know too much about the problem.

I would say WMP (unless you have an iPod).

Otherwise choose one that as the features and interface you like most.

    I'd go for WinAmp.

While the new VLC 0.9.* looks nicer, its still not quite as nice as something like Winamp for your music.

That said, I use iTunes to stream music to my Airport Express!

What sort of speakers are they?
The player doesn't matter too much as they all have the same sound quality regardless.
More important is your content - what type of music have you got? MP3's, WMA's, CD's etc.

WMP11, it has everything you need and sounds really good through my surround sound speakers.
