I'm sure some Intel fanboys would say AMD don't know their CPU's from hole in the ground!![]()

Got a natural pearl in my calloused hand
...Saved for the girl who could really understand
......What it takes to see
.........The gold from the alchemy
I am no AMD fanboy, but AMD serve their purpose of supplying CPU's to those who know no better or can't afford the Intel ones.
Thermaltake Armor Case/1100W PSU
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Motherboard i7-960 3.2 GHz
Gigabyte GV-N670OC-4GD GForce GTX-670
Corsair 4x8GB, DDR3-1600 32GB
5 x Seagate HDD's 3.0TB each
Dual 22" ViewSonic Widescreen
NexStar Dual SATA Dock
Probably nothing, they work at least.
My preference is Intel and Xeon if I could afford it.
AMD vs Intel is like the Mac vs PC based argument that has been around for years, both have good and bad points and everyone has their opinion.

AMD Vs Intel is nothing like and has never been anything like the PC Vs Mac debate.
better Dredd then dead
Come on !
Until AMD came along Intel had the market all to itself and charged well over a thousand dollars per CPU. Then AMD came out and Intel dropped their prices.
So I always buy AMD on principal !
So what colour is your Adkaf?
Have you joined Proud to Be Kiwi yet?
Don't forget Cyrix. They put the cheap in ultra cheap when they were around.
Just a damn shame AMD weren't able to turn having a far superior product for so many years into real world market share.
where are they now?
