    Default Firmware upgrade question

    Hi

Normally when you upgrade firmware for a device do you upgrade every update from the old to the latest version ?or do the latest firmware include the old firmware version so there's no need each version at a time?

    Like this one http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/dg834n.asp

Do i upgrade starting from 1.0.02 to 1.0.03 ... to the new one or can i just straight to the latest version?

    Default Re: Firmware upgrade question

Every time I've seen it, the firmware is all the code for the device, not a patch for a pre-existing version (that'll be made pretty clear if so). Life's much simpler that way.
