Default Excel can't drag down formula

Quick question here, what has happened to that spot on the bottom right corner of the cell where I can drag down the cell so that the formula stated can be applied for cells below?

Well on 2007, there is an option called "Enable fill handle and cell drag and drop", this is exactly your issue... so I hope that option is in 2003.

I think its Tools>Options... or something like that.

Not sure if this helps but check Tools/Options/ Edit and make sure the tick is in the box "Enable Auto complete for cell values"

What if you select the cells you want filled, and go to Edit-Fill Down?
