Default Long Range Wireless G Booster

I work a block from where I live. Is there a wireless booster that I can get to pick up their wireless connection at home? I can pick it up when I'm across the street towards my house but needs I'm three houses farther. Their wireless router is a Linksys wireless G 2.4GHZ 54Mbps.

You could try using one of these I guess: http://compnetworking.about.com/od/w...ear_7.htm?rd=1

Also, there is firmware that you can load onto your router such as Tomato or DD-WRT that allows you to boost the signal strength of your router. That could possibly work though 3 houses or down the street sounds a tad too much.
All the technology and software in the universe is useless when the end user has the IQ of a sack of hammers.
