Default Need pro advice re: Non-stock CPU fan

Recently bought an Asus M2N-VM DVI mobo, and fitted an AMD 4800+ x2 into it.
AS I already had an aftermarket CPU cooler (Thermalright XP90) I decided to throw that on too. Now... the problem is that the fan with the AMD stock cooler has 4 pins, the fan I have only has 2. I did re-wire it so that it now has 3 wires, but I believe that for the motherboard monitoring to fully work, I need a fan with a 4 pin connector (and no, its not a molex connector, I am talking about the motherboard connection).
Does anyone know where I can get an aftermarket silent/quiet fan with a 4 pin plug/connector.
From memory, the current fan I have (SilenX) is either 80mm or 92mm (will check later after suggestions)

Looks like there's an AMD version of this around

A writeup of it is here

    And as shown here

4 pin connector enables fan speed control. 3 connector just enables fan speed sensing.

How old is that CPU cooler?
Will it be good enough for a 4800+ CPU?
As far as I can tell it is not made for an AMD Socket AM2 CPU???

No it isnt for an AMD CPU, thats why I said there's an AMD version around.

I think its called Cooling Freezer 64 Pro

    It'll be similar to this

But it doesnt say this is for AM2

You are quite right regarding whether it was made for an AM2 mobo. Which is why I bought one of these (an adapter to allow the XP90 to sit on an AM2 motherboard)

Addition: regards whether it is sufficient... I have installed Gentoo Linux on this computer using the XP90 cooler. Gentoo Linux being source-orientated requires that each package is compiled, which pushed the CPU to 100% usage for long periods... with no problems whatsoever
