Question Configureing Cobian, or another daily back up program

Is there a way to configure Cobian to NOT create empty folders? I use Cobian for daily scheduled back up to an external hard drive. Or can you recommend a free back up program that does not create zip files?

I use to use the popular freeware syncback. It's at snapfiles with many others...

    Hi Steve,

It seems you can remove the empty folders by following these steps:

.. if you don't want empty folders in your backups, you can select the Engine category on the left-hand-side menu and then from there put a check mark next to Delete empty folders. When done press the OK button to exit the Options screen. - source

OMG it is so simple, how did I miss that? And I did look at that Engine page...

    Thanks Jen.
