computer not detecting printing finished

I'm trying to help someone with a canon i560 printer & vista. The first document you print is OK, but the computer doesn't detect that printing has finished, so leaves it in the print queue & you can't print anything else until you cancel the document.

check canon site for updated drivers, or uninstall reinstall the one you have
