Default Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Call

In the last couple of days I have stared getting this Runtime error message when I close out of Outlook Express.
    Runtime error
    Program:C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\MSIMN.EXE
    R6025
    -pure virtual function call

I have tried to find how to fix it using as many of the sources my limited knowledge has such as Google .FAQ's,and many help sites but can't find anything that fits the above.
    What do I do?

Have you done a virus scan recently?
The file may be corrupted due to a virus
Do a scan then go to the Start/Run command and type in sfc /scannow and click OK
This will check your system files and fix any that are missing or corrupt
All going well, it should fix your problem
Post back and let us know how you went

Thanks bevy121, I have Norton 360 installed and it did a scan when I powered up this morning. Undertook your scannow suggestion. No change, still the same error message when I logged out of Outlook Express. Will now try your second post and get back.

Did it happen BEFORE or AFTER Norton 360 was installed?

A long time after. I have had Norton 360 since about March this year.

If you want something smaller than Adobe reader, try Foxit reader

Try the solution in the link I gave. See if that fixes it.
