    Default Print Monitor is unknown

    I've got a canon lbp3000 shared on a windows XP computer & I'm trying to set it up on a Vista home basic computer, but it comes up with the error "the specified print monitor is unknown".

    I can't find the inf file for the printer on the xp machine to comment out the part that is supposed to be causing that.

    The reason you cant find the inf is you need Vista drivers for a Vista OS.
    Download the latest Driver From Here, select Driversand try that.

    I think someone here had the same prob. Turn UAC OFF.
