[AUCKLAND LAN] BGLan: Final - 123 people, $600+ prizes, 3 days
The BGLan admin team is proud to announce and open registrations for our 13th, and FINAL BGLan event! This is going to be epic - over $500 in COLD, HARD CASH! The event will be strictly limited to 123 people, and will run from Friday to Sunday. Prepays have just opened, so if you have already registered, you may prepay now.
WHEN:
Date: 25-27th of January, 2008
Times: Friday 7PM - Sunday 2PM
WHERE:
Trusts Stadium Arena, Henderson. 65-57 Central Park Drive, off the Lincoln Road offramp. We're in the upstairs Genesis Lounge.
TOURNAMENTS:
Total Prizemoney: $520 - REGARDLESS OF ATTENDANCE.
CoD2: 3v3, $120 - run by Neongreen
CSS: 3v3, $300 - run by Kyosuke
DOTA: 2v2, $100 - run by SilentDtH

PRIZES:
There'll be heaps of spot prizes, we've already got a bunch of gear from Steelseries lined up to give away as prepay prizes! If you prepay before December the 20th, you'll go into the draw - multiple chances to win! We're negotiating with several sponsors to get you some pretty cool facilities.
PRICE:
We have a tiered pricing structure this time:
Spectate: $0
Prepay on or before December 20th: $25
Prepay between December 20th and January 23rd: $30
Door: $40
Those who prepay will get a pre-printed nametag along with the ability to choose their seat. We very much doubt there'll be door spots available, but we will make them available - note that those who don't prepay will also need to go through a long and cumbersome signup procedure, unlike the 10 second checkin process we've implemented.
FACILITIES:
- Plenty of parking
- Bar downstairs(No one will be admitted into the LAN area drunk); not guaranteed to be open.
- Burger king, Wendys, Pak'n'save all within walking/driving distance
SPECTATORS:
You will need to pre-register beforehand, at which point a unique ID will be made up for you. Anyone attempting to enter the venue without a legitimate BGLan: Final ID will be rejected; you will need this to check in and out.
GAMES:
CSS, DOTA, CoD2, BF2, Trackmania, Soldat, FlatOut2, Company of Heroes, and tons of others!
The first 45 people who prepay will also be attached to our high-speed gigabit network - we're sorry, but if you miss out, we can't bump you to a gigabit seat. Like I said, I really recommend prepaying as soon as you can; the benefits are great - like gigabit, winning prizes, and only paying $25.
