Whack A Goat; Fly The Friendly Skies.

Grand Poobah Nepal Airlines & Screen Door Company has apparently fixed an electrical fault on one of its Boeing 757s by sacrificing two male goats in appeasement of Hindu sky god Akash Bhairab, according to a Reuters report.

The airline which only owns two Boeings, and this particular one was reportedly giving it a certain amount of grief leading to suspension of services over the past few weeks.

However, the quick dispatch to the hereafter of two horned and splittith-hoofed sacrifices in front of the "devil-possessed machine" at Kathmandu on Sunday quickly resolved the matter.

Senior airline official, Raju (Raji) K.C, officially the Grand Wizard of Atonements and Curse Healer for the airline had little to add or to elaborate on the exact nature of the problem, but confirmed:

"The most untimely permutation of a snag in the demon-afflicted airplane has now been most humbly fixed and now for your pleasure the aircraft has resumed its flights for which we are very sorry. The inflight meal will be curried goat on rice pilaf. "

I hope the Airline Mechanics Union finds out about this in time to lay off several thousand airline mechanics and instead erect gated enclosures and purchase a few heads of goats in replacement.

Make one want to fly their friendly skies..no?

Rather than Goats I would rather send you a Taniwha.

You definitely need a Taniwha if the local government decides to run a motorway anywhere near the trailer park you reside in and you do not want the motorway. Now the Taniwha appears to be a fairly rare being.

I have to admit that I have seen many a Goat on the side of the road. They are used as lawnmowers and no petrol or gasoline needed.

Personally I have never seen a Taniwha. This does not mean a Taniwha does not exist though.

For myself I have a believe in a Supreme being.

In company it used to be said, You don't talk about religion, politics or sex.

With PressF1 any AMD vs Intel, Nvidea vs ATI, PC vs Mac and anything versus anything. All these threads will create debate or argument.

If anyone can prove that they are 100% correct and convince all the world then we would all be the same. We would all live in the one country. There would only be Males or Females not both.

Oh and everyone will drive a Ford Edsel or not.

Royal Nepal Airlines is actually quite good. I never flew Grand Poobah so cant vouch for them...

I didn't know I was gonna open a "Deity v Deity" rant and rage again.

BTW: It's Mobile Home Park, not Trailer Park. Trailers you can tow with your car or pickup truck, although the "mobile" part of the name leaves me in suspense too.

My message was that I see little or no difference between a sacrifice of a goat to fix a plane and the use of a Taniwha to re-route a road.

As I do not live in the USA I am sorry I have not learned the USA vernacular.

I ask now what would you make of "Caravan Park." A caravan in NZ can be mobile or fixed. A Caravan in the middle east used to comprise a number of camels.

What would you think about Roger Miller singing, "trailer for sale or rent, rooms to let, 50 cents."
