    Default Safari browser for Windows

    http://www.apple.com/safari/

Apple doubled its presence on the Windows platform Monday when it released a Windows-compatible version of its Safari Web browser

Apple promises a speedy version of Safari for Windows. The company says that Safari performed an iBench HTML performance suite test twice as fast as Microsoft’s Internet Explorer

Hmmmm looks interesting, just a pity it's for XP SP2 and above, i was sure it was going to be for 2000 as well

I'll have to look at using Swift for testing as a webkit based browser on windows 2000

I have downloaded and installed the beta version of safari and it is very fast.

At the moment the words look a bit to black and shady not quite clear enough but id say they will fix that when the full version comes out.

No thanks - it's an Apple product.

I've just had a bit of a play. Nowhere near as fast as Opera in either loading the browser itself or web pages. Not sure what the discrepancy is there.

The font rendering is terrible at the moment also. Maybe can be fixed with a few adjustments.

    Not ready quite yet.

It has such a good rep I'll be trying the full version as & when.

Just got it and used it. Makes the fonts and the images look horrible and there is no way it is faster than FF. FF still pwns all!!! And Firefox looks cool And Safari is a Apple product as well.
