    Default Windows Explorer opens on startup????

    A Windows Explorer window that shows the contents of a folder in E drive opens every single time a start my computer. Ive had this problem before a few years back but cant remember what I did to resolve the issue.

    Any ideas?

    check for a shortcut to E:\ in start>programs>startup

    What version of Windows? Silly question I know but you don't have Windows Explorer running, maybe minimised, when you close the computer down do you?

    What did you last install before this started to happen? Anything that is located on the E drive? Incorrect paths for programs in startup can cause a Explorer window to open.
