    Thanks for that notification. The download packages are certainly not for anyone on dialup though.

    I also keep forgetting about the add-ons you can get for OOo such as templates and clipart.

    Pffft. The latest upgrade of one of my favourite games is a 2.5gig download. Who's skeered of a pansy 97 megs!?

    I hope you both noticed the request on the OOo site to spread the word.
    This is one of the best applications available and should get a lot more recognition.

    I think the multitude of PF1'ers know about it. But yeah the word should be spread around a bit more, albeit if only to enhance the saleability of the future pay version.

    Long live the free version of OOo. Of course if Microsoft can prove that OOo is using some of its patents, then we might have to pay for it. Get it while you can then!
