Hi,
I had been to those sites.thanks
I need to talk to some one who own one of this.
Thank you.
As I need some one to help me go through some Bios setting. At the moment the Bios setting were all in default settings.
In such default setting, I can't get my e-Sata devices working. I think it may need some adjustments, but I don,t know how!
Please help.
Regard Chindall.
P.S. e-Sata enclosure and sata hdd( Sata2 & USB2 output) work with USB connection.
Hi pctek,
I have P5B Deluxe User Guide if it is the same as motherboard manual.
This motherboard is quite new in the market. And I have few difficulty of setting it up.
Ist, I can't get the e-sata to work with my external devices.( Sata2 & USB2 combo to sata interface enclosure) Enclosure worked fine with USB connection.
2nd, I can’t back up my C drive image into D drive in Dos with Norton Ghost, Image Drive nor Acronis True Image. But It work fine in Window.
It will be nice if other owner will share the experience & knowledge.
All the Bios were in default setting.
P.S. The system: Asus P5D Deluxe board, E6600 CPU, Corsair DDR2-800, Leatek PX7600GT Extreme, Seagate 320g sata2 hdd
Thank you.
You should have continued from this thread.
Did u install the mobo drivers, and after u installed SP2, did u delete the USB controllers entries in device manager then reboot?
Is there anything in device manager with a ? beside it?

Hi
Yes, I had installed mobo drivers, but I didn't deleted the USB controllers after installed SP2.
There are no ? on device manager except one of ? beside the Other Devices-of 8187 wireless.
I had updated the bios to V.706 beta.
Thank you.
Hi,
Finally I had sucess with getting the e-sata to work by removed the Jumper block from the Sata2 HDD from the e-sata enclosure.
But the 2nd problem stll there-I have trying to make a back-up image of "C" drive into partition D drive using Dos program like; Norton Ghost 8.3, Acronis True Image 8 and Image Center 5.6 from HIREN's all in 1 Boot CD 8.4 but all came up with a same error messages;
Loading CD Rom Drive----
Oak CD Rom.sys. loading failed----
Vide-CDD. sys. loading---
Vide-CCD.sys. loading failed
Atapi CD.sys. loadong-----
Can anyone help?
Thank you.
You do realise the Hiren CD is illegal as it contains pirated software of commercial releases? Unless you actually own a license to all of the commercial software on that CD ...?
It is against the forum rules to give help or ask for help with using pirated software.
