Question Please Go To The Control Panel ...

Please go to the control panel to install and configure system components.

This message is displayed on both of my computers whenever I insert a CD or DVD. Even on their own individual internal CD Roms. The laptop runs 2000 Professional and the Desktop runs XP.

No problem, go to the control panel and install and configure the components. Naturally, these components have been installed and are all working in fact as well as in Device Manager. Doesn't matter what I do, install and reinstall can't get rid of this bloody message. Is this another stuff up courtesy of Microsoft Updates?
