    Default Telecom/Xtra refunding for outage!

Not sure whether to laugh... or laugh.

When Xtra etc went down for over a day Telecom initially didn't want to refund for the downtime, then sent e-mails saying that customers could APPLY for a refund...log onto site, fill out form etc.

Seemed a waste of time for a couple of dollars, but wait- Xtra have now sent me an e-mail after I didn't fill out the form last month, telling me that I would now be automaticly credited the equivalent of day's charges.

So nice of them... see, if you sit on your butt and do nothing the riches will flow

Now I just have to decide what to do with my $2.00

Hey, Shortcircuit, what have you got that the rest of us haven't?

I didn't fill out my form either.
    So now I'm waiting...

(Surname early in the alphabet maybe?)

beetle, just be grateful your initials aren't V or W... oh wait, you're not with Xtra.

If you feel left out I can send you my $2.00... less the $4.00 courier fee of course. So- you now owe me $1.50

I was wondering if anyone would bite (well, apart from beetle!!!)... the 50cents will magically disappear into the governments coffers no doubt, or if you like you could say it's because of 'rounding'.

I haven't checked my Xtramail for a while but maybe I've been offered the same. If so I'll buy a fibre-rich meusli bar and donate it to Twelvevolts to help ease his diarrhoea.
