    Default Printer not detected

    Hi there!
I have been trying to solve this problem for some time and fimely found on googl explanation of possible reason. LPT1 port in Win XP has default address. If in the MOBO 13105 address is different one of them has to be changed.
The question is how to do it?
    Any ideas?

Surely the system would test, in this order, 0x378, 0x278, and for those who might still have an IBM monochrome adapter with included printer port, 0x3BC.

Why would any motherboard (or plugin board) manufacturer use any other addresses? I can understand fiddling with interrupt numbers, but there's never been a shortage of I/O ports.
