Does anyone know if " Group-tek " has merged into another company or not?
Its not even listed as a company in Drivers guide.

    What OS?

Have you tried assigning a generic driver via the windows hardware wizard?

Other then that, a "good-enough" 10/100 network card can probally be purchased new from any number of places for under $10 bucks, certainly available in the $12 to $15 range, is it worth shagging around over some unkown item purchased va a comp fair?

Group-tel also look to go by the name Cnet (infact it looks like they always go by that name, and Group-tek is a red-herring)

    http://www.cnet.com.tw/

Or, I could be way off....

    Nuh, once again you're right
Group-tek is just a chip manufacturer while cnet technology seems to be the actual name it's marketed as
