I think you might be. Do you have a passport. If you don't I think you would have trouble getting that also, but I could be wrong.

I heard a few years ago that yeah, you'd be stopped at Customs at the airport, because the IRD etc now share data with Customs.

If you sailed out via a private boat then you'd get around it.

Watch out for Baycorp in the departures area !

Oh you'll be fine (d). I'd check out how much you owe them though before leaving...

I know someone who went to Aussi last year and has just come back. He had fines and other committments that I thought would stop him, but he still got through OK. Just make sure you are up to date with all payments, maybe even a month ahead so that you have time to find a job and still be able to pay on time.
    Good Luck.

All depends on whether customs decide to drag you out of the line and waste a few hours of your time. Im sure they can check your fines and then ruin your day.

3 hours I was held up for last time while the brainiacs tried to figure out where the "drugs" where, They took swabs of the damn paintings my granny had done. Acting like they were James Bond.

Got me just a little aggrivated, and the angrier you get, the more they shag you around.

Hmmm all good advice thanks, I hope you made known what idiots they were Metla .... I'll definitely be paying lump some to Pacific Retail and maybe a bit to the courts and it might pay not to look soo shady looking when at my best huh.
