    Question Control Panel

Under Control Panel, there are two new icons that I dont recognize to have being there when I first bought my PC.

    One is: Adobe Gamma

and Second is : Sigma Tel Audio. I dont remember installing any of these and I am definitely sure that they wernt there when I bought my PC.

Are these things safe? And can anyone tell me how I GOT these in the first place?

    Thnx

It looks like Sigma Tel Audio might have something to do with the soundcard.

And Adobe Gamma may have something to do with Adobe Photoshop, if this is installed.

    And yup, they're safe.

Not sure about the other one, but Adobe Gamma will be fine.

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche
