Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

If you're interested in learning HTML, I built quite a respectable website from scratch in a couple of days, absolutely no prior knowledge, using a book called HTML QuickSteps by Guy Hart-Davis, McGraw-Hill Osborne pub. $29.95 from Dymocks in Wellington. Impressively clear and easy to follow, quite the best How-to book I've seen.

Waste of time. Just use a wysiwig editor and he can have a site up in a couple of hours, not days.
Bugger the cancer. I'm suffering from terminal inertia.

    Thats sooo true...
Also, you could try copying someone elses site, or at least some of it to achieve your goal. Tidying it up is another matter though

and what you end up with is a half baked webpage thats full of errors, often it will only work correctly with a certain browser and made by someone who has no idea what they are doing.

start with basics and LEARN html, its not hard. it may take a bit longer but at least it will be done proberly.

i've yet to see a wysiwyg editor that does web pages 100% correctly.
    Tweak it till it breaks

Use wiziwig and you stop where it stops.

learn html and CSS and the worlds your oyster...

I learned on Frontpage, and then just used it to hold my pages and did much by hand.

On http://stuffucanuse.com - downloads page is a small program caleld Namo2, a simple wiziwig program that you can easily use.
