Default Winfast TV2000 XP Program crashing in XP :?

    hey there.

Had winfast tv2000 going perfectly last night. (Just got it)

Was trying to get that HVC program working. Couldn't get it to work. Then I went back to winfast later on and found it was getting crap all reception.

Wasn't sure what it was and last night it was raining so i was like ok just the rain. But its plugged into the antennafromthe wall so today iuninstalled & reinstalled. Now wheni try to load it. It gives me one of those fatal errors:

    AppName: wftv.exe AppVer: 3.0.9.99 ModName: wftv.exe
    ModVer: 3.0.9.99 Offset: 00056c24

Anyone have any idea on how I can fix this :'( I wanna watch some tv already

I haven't tried clearing winfast totally out of registry yet. Anyone reckon that might makea difference?

Just as well you are not asking advice on how to get this program to work, but just asking about Winfast2000 related issues. HVC is illegal. If you want to view sky, then pay for the service. Asking for help, or giving help on this program will result in being banned. This is quite clearly stated in the rules.

    4) Subject Matter: Asking for, or giving advice on how to pirate software will not be tolerated. This includes posting links to sites where Warez, no-CD hacks, keygens etc can be found. And yes, this also covers advice on how to illegally gain access to a commercial service, such as Sky TV.

It may be as simple as re-tuning everything.
It may be the application is corrupt and requires updating. Get the latest version from the Winfast site anyway, its much more stable from what Ive heard.

I could on the other hand say you're on your own because its possibly HVCPlus which has screwed it.

We'll see if any of the other members here feel likewise, or if they have some better ideas.

Umm yer the program for the tuner USED to be on the Leadtek site.

Not too sure where it is now. I can't seem to find it! I can only see the drivers, for the deluxe and the expert.

BUT I did have probs with the original program on CD.

It didnt like HT (Hyperthreading). BUT the later version of the program (after I sent Leadtek emails a while ago now, to let them know it didn't like HT, fixed that).

Depending on which tuner u have, you didnt update the drivers for the wrong one did you??

And your tuner program (if you installed it off the CD), your system doesn't support HT does it??

The HCV program hasn't done squat, damn thing doesn't even install into Windows let alone make configuration changes, Besides which he didn't ask for help with stealing sky so the pull out your cop badge rant above is way out of whack. It ain't ain't upto anyone else what a user has installed.

Hey Jen, I just used a crack on a game I borrwed off someone, now I'm not having any issues but feel free to rant like your a cop, hell even quote a few rules.

Chill, You told someone how to rip music off a DVD in the other thread, Completely against the law in this country, yet you tell a man he is on his own because he has a certain program on his comp?

Should we flame people who have issues with their media player if they have mp3's on their harddrive?

The materials mentioned were never deemed copyrighted materials.

If he'd said "Ive just hired several DVD's from VideoEZY and want to take the audio from them" I wouldnt have been willing... They could be legit from friends, as I frequently make compilations of Video's of Music Vids Ive recorded off TV, or of my own Video's.

Its a sad fine line to have to walk I know....

Can't talk, busy on the phone to my Factory in Malaysia, Have to get another 500 000 copies of that Will Smith cd onto the market,2c a cd if anyone wants one.

And seeing as I just found out how to rip audio from a VOB file we will be stripping the audio from concert DVD's and selling it as special unreleased concert cd's.Will have millions of them on the market within a week.

    Cunning.
