Default Open Office - editing in print preview

In MS Word when you can edit whilst in print preview mode. I used that all the time.

Any idea how to do that in Open Office?

    Thanks

    Useful link thanks.

But I guess it can't be done. Too bad. Wonder if my donation will get them to add it in the next release..

You can't in Word either, unless you meant Print Layout instead of Print Preview.

Ok I'm still using Word 2002 they must have added that in 2003 - frankly I wont be upgrading as I'm tending to use Open Office more and more.

Hi d.m Appreciate the change. However, I found that Open Office did not like graphics contained in documents prepared with Word. Could not get them to open properly and we use graphics a lot.

Word 2002 supports it - you need to deselect the "magnifier" icon in print preview to enable it.

Thanks for that - I didn't know. Regardless, why would you bother, and it still doesn't change my mind about contributing more dosh to the Gates Foundation.
