Hey, everyone. I'm having a problem with my CD drive. When I put a disk in there, my notebook doesn't seem to register the CD. I've tried all types of CDs and nothing works... what could be the problem??

Well the cd maybe dirty, or someones played around in the BIOS . Check the BIOS. Does the eject button open the cd still every time??
I would say if the BIOS still shows the cd, it maybe damaged or something.
Can you replace the cd? (can you remove it)?
Or is it actually part of the system??
