    Default Network..passwords etc

Hi there. In our household we have two comps. Networked of course.

Now the story is..I have shared my Music folder on my comp, so that the other computer can access it for music etc etc.

However, when I am working on the other computer and I need something from say "F:\" and the folder Music happens to be in "F:\" i would like to enter a different password for this than my login in password on my comp.

I know that when i reboot the other comp i have to enter my logon details to access my comp from the other comp.

So the story is...I want to share my F:\ but with a different password than my current login on my comp. Both computers are running win2k.

Cheers I look forward to replies.
As long as it involves midget and catering size chocolate sauce...I'm there!

On a windows 2000 machine, open explorer, go to tools, map network drive.
Here you can specify the drive letter, the share name and "Connect as". You can enter a different username and password in the "Connect as" setting as required.

The second option is to go to user manager and enable the guest account (disabled by default). Now on the other machine you do not have to enter a password to access the share.
