When I use Thunderbird in Xandros. Links in email wont work. I use Thunderbird in Windows XP2 with the same settings and all is well. Anyone have a few ideas I can try.
I may not be as good as I once was but I'm far better once than I ever was.

Is your HTML turned on? Try Tools/Account Settings/Composition & Addresses...then tick box "compose messege in HTML format"

HTML turned on. Tried reboot. No change.
Did you see a specific thread relating to this in that link you posted.
I tried search. Nothing that was similar that I could see.

When you say that links in email won't work in Thunderbird, do you mean pasting them from your browser? (Firefox?)

To select the link from the page you are viewing in your browser, hit Ctrl-L which highlights the URL. Then hit Ctrl-C to 'cut' the address.

Then in your new Thunderbird message, hit Ctrl-V to paste the address into the email.

HTH. This method works fine in Mandrake 10.

I mean links in an email. e.g. The Register newsletter is full of links none of them work. I have since discovered that I cant post in PressF1 from Xandros so it is probably a setting in Firefox that causing the problem.
Still looking for ideas. Anyone ??
