Default Red Sheriff Java Tracking Cookie

I recently installed Protowall but I had to remove it because I kept getting the BSOD, Running OK since removal must have been incompatible with some other prog like Spybot or Outpost Firewall. However during the time it was running I kept getting notifications that it was blocking the Red Sheriff cookie. I did a bit of Googling on this and it appears to be very common with lots of disclaimers that it not harvesting personal information.
(Yeah right !!) Protowall blocked it from sending when I wasn't even using the internet, I was using Excel. I recon this happened at least 50 times in 2 hours.
I want to set up Firefox to block Red Sheriff in tools*options *cookies*exceptions. How do I enter the IP ranges like 203.166.18.0, 203.166.18.255. Is it comma seperated, or - _ / or can I even do this at all.http://pressf1.pcworld.co.nz/images/smilies/help.gif
