    Default Bottom of Screen

At the bottom of the screen it has little blocks which tells you what is running. What is it when you have one of these with no name in it - it doesn't respond to right or left clicks.

Is it one that is usually there and you can sometimes see what it is? Or is it something new that you have never been able to see any status for?

You might want to take a screenshot for us and tell us which one you're talking about, as that possibly could help us tell you what it is.

I would check the computer for spyware and adware. Looks like something you might have picked up and it's installed itself without you knowing.

Odd to put such an obvious indicator of it's presence though.

Have you had some 'weird' behavior from your comp recently, starting about the time this icon appeared?

Off Topic: Time the ubergeeks at Pressf1 loaded "spyware" and "adware" into the spellcheck database.

Interesting. Myself I'd do another reboot, or maybe two, before I felt confident that something had 'gone'.

All very odd, that it should just disappear. ?:|
