    Default hard drive failure

After clearing an attack on the mbr of my hard drive I later lost the C:/ partition of my hard drive. After Fdisking the drive I am now unable to format it at all. I have jumpered the drive to a slave and can use D:/ partition. How can I repair and or analyse the fault with the c partiton.

If you've fsisked it you have probably lost everything on the drive. Try running fdisk again and ensure the partition is set active.

You're a bit scant on detail as to exactly what you have done so rather than list all the possible scenarios have a look here
