    i cant copy and paste from a pdf, what am i doing wrong......feeling like a dunce at the moment

    Click the "I" icon at the top 0 it'll let you select.

    Unless the pdf has been protected when it was created - in which case you cannot copy and paste.

    You could also get a bit creative. If you have any OCR software, take a screenshot of it and feed it to the OCR program.

    To get the screenshot you could try this program, it works very well for me and is useful when you want to select only a particular part of the document that is copy protected:

    Choose to d/l MWSnap.
