Default Power Wattage Calculator. Is your power supply BIG enough

For those who know they should work out if they have a big enough power supply for the two dozen drives and 22 USB devices connected to their system.

Kinda irrelevant really, wattage isnt the only thing you should look for in a PSU. Theres a reason why a Enermex 420w is a better buy than a Hyena 550w.

Anybody wanted to make an informed decision when purchasing a PSU should read this thread over at OCNZ. Very informative and has a list of good and bad brands.

Cheers, that's a cool calculator and I'm happy because I've got 50W or so for ectra upgrades.

How accurate is it though? I've seen other Wattage Calculators around and they told my I needed a lot more power than that.

Do you have any links to other calculators that you've seen? Can you post them here so we can check them out and compare them?

    Cheers,
    Mike.
