I'd go for "Linnucks".
If we are talking about pronunciation - how about these:
Lingerie - Larnjeray or Larnjeree?
Supplejack - Suppeljack or Soopeljack?
Basic - Bassic or Baysic?
I could go on... (and on, and on) ;\

if you do a search of the internet, maybe this forum even, you will find a wav of the dude himself say it and then you can be happy.
As a Linux user, I pronounce Linux as Linnix
I have an official sound bite of Linus Torvalds himself saying Linux, and to my ears it sounds like Linnix - so I am sticking to that
You can read a debate about the correct pronounciation here
I suppose the correct pronunciation should be however you say Linus, as Linux is the creation of Linus Torvalds. Any Finnish people out there? :-)
oops didnt see your post Jen. :-)
