Looking at purchasing the above. We have a lot of gear that goes out of the office (projectors, laptops, digicams, other stuff) and want some asset management and tracking software that will not only let us check gear in and out, but will also have some sort of reminders windows that pops up on the user's PC who handles the gear to say a piece of equipment is overdue for check in.
A big ask? I thought not but after searching the net found nothing suitable.
Have tried demo packages of asset tracking and management, have tried demos of hire gear shops (which I thought would be perfect but wasn't) have tried rental video shop demo software - none have the reminders feature.
And yes have thought about using Outlook calendar but need reporting capablilities also.
Ideas? Am I asking too much?
