    Default no jpeg

    Win 2000
When I surf the net, I often see pics on sites.
So I right click>save as & I never get the option of saving as jpeg. Even when the original pic is jpeg.
    This is strange..Hmm
Is this possibly an internet setting.
I shall have a quick look at Tools>Internet Options...
But if you know the answer... Cheers Ron

Usually this is a symptom of too many files in the Temporary Internet File folder.

In IE, Tools - Internet Options - General - Delete Files

does it do it on ALL web pages? some sites can disable certain functions in IE so you can't save pictures etc.

as far as temp internet fils go, check the size of the cache. IE default is often way to big. drop the size down to 20 or 40 meg.
