    Default system files

    My PC runs Windows me.
When I turn it on it asks me to insert a disk with system files on it.
How can I transfer the system files from a floppy disk to the hard disk?
Can anyone tell me how it would have lost it system files in the first place?

    Thanks for any help

ok if you want a windows me boot disk (disk containing system files) go to www.bootdisk.com click on the first link and from there download/run the "windows me oem" boot disk the program will ask you to insert a floppy then click ok. This should get you a bootdisk with system files on it.
