    Default Catch-A-Call Modem Switch

i just spotted this (cat. XH3491) over at DSE and though it might be of interest given the number of requests for a way to get incoming calls that have been posted over the years.

The only real problem is the cost.

    Default Re: Catch-A-Call Modem Switch

Spotted those a week or two back, and wondered why someone had not produced something earlier.

I guess it would not be much help if the modem dropped the line (as many do) when the call waiting beeps came through, but for the ones that stay connected its quite a good solution.

Clever the way it can fool the modem and the ISP that you are connected for 30 seconds too. Thats probably as simple as being the timeout without a connection?
