Backweb lite van be uninstalled from the add/remove programs section in your control panel.

That particuler piece of spyware is loaded on by the manufacter of your new computer

If your worried make a restore point before deleting it.

If it was mine i would not hesitate, although,if it was mine i probally would have formatted the disc the minute the puter was delivered.

SpyBot has its own recovery feature. I take it that SpyBot is throwing up the error and not another app lanky? Try reinstalling it and download the latest updates from www.kolla.de

A Restore Point is taking a snapshot of your computer system and being able to revert to that point after installing, removing or fiddling with your system. It is very handy for when you want to test things - after restoring, all the fiddling, etc you did is wiped. It does not touch your data.

To set a restore point go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore and follow the Wizard to create a restore point.

If you need to do a restore just repeat the Wizard only choose restore.

Hey lanky, you have got windows XP right? The restore point is part of Windows ME and XP only. Anything else and you will waste time looking
