    Default norton anti virus

I've disabled my anti virus norton.I was wondering if i was unfortunate and caught a virus I would enter dos and call nav to run and scan and delete and repair any files that are infected.
Now how do i call up norton anti virus in dos?

    No

    Enable the antivirus program
    Update the definitions
Create the rescue disks to run from DOS

    Disable the antivirus program.
    Do at you own risk

If your PC isnt able to keep up with an AV Scanner, it may be a good idea to make a habit of going to housecall.antivirus.com once a week or so...

It will never be as good as a Real-Time scanner, but I know that the 486 I have upstairs would DIE if I tried running one!
