Default can't display divx when using video out

    actually not only divx..
but mpg and other formates too
    just all the video clips

everything else shows but where the video should appear
it get filled in with a pinkish red colour
this happened when i try it with several players..
    window media, winamp, ... etc..

does this thing had something to do with direct show?

I had this type of problem and found that video only shows in the primary dispaly window.

if you set the TV out to be a clone of the VGA screen then you only get video on the VGA.

if you set the primary display to be the TV out then the VGA is a clone of the TV screen, now you get video on the TV and not the VGA.

as for how to swap the TV oiut to be the primary dispaly?? look in your display settings. depend on what card you have and what drivers.

    hope that helps.

    Hi robsonde

I have a Nvidia MX400, using the Nvidia detonator drivers, latest versions. I solved this problem on my computer by changing the 'clone' to the 'duelview'. This is in Display->Settings->Advanced->your 3D card tab.
Then 'nView Display Mode', change the settings here.
