Default Changing Taskbar Icons, how to

I cant find a way to alter the Icons on the Task bar (bottom RHSide) of a WinXP PC. I want to change the Network Icon and stop the accidental disconnecting when users really want the 56K modem disconnected, both Icons look the same.

    Thanks..... John.

Yes, it is confusing. When I last used an XP system I had four of them (modem, LAN, serial, parallel).

You could just disable the LAN icon if you don't need it.

I'd look at either hiding or disabling the system tray icon. I'm not sure where you would look to change the actual icons for each individual connection.

You can always Hide (Always) the LAN and other appicable icons, and tell XP to Show (Always) the Internet Icons :-)
