I have win 2000 pro & have an hp 640c printer, since I had a rebuild when I print something it takes 45 seconds from the time I press print
to when it starts printing, it used to take about 5 seconds.Help would be appreciated.

Look in the printer properties. I would guess the setting has been changed, and you need to enable the "spool documents" and "start printing immediately" settings
