    Default I knew I was missing something from my Linux setup... P2P!

    Im after some P2P software for Linux, what's available/recommended?

    I'd look into the direct connect and edonkey clients.

    Have a look around http://freshmeat.net/ and http://sourceforge.net/ under Communications -> File Sharing.

    I found a quite good Direct Connect client "DC-GUI".


    I managed to get winmx working under wine, but I don't have the settings I used.

    Well, I have WineX which does gaming fine over a TCP/IP LAN, so if my net connection is coming from the LAN too, I should be sweet using WinMX in doze AND RedHat 8 :-)

    I'll give those two sites a look over too, thanks :-)
