    Default Delete Epson printer port

I can not delete 'Epson printer port' showing in device manager and install LPT1 which no longer exists. No longer have the Epson printer - uninstalled all Epson programs but everytime I reboot asks for the driver disk for Epson printer port.
    Running 98SE
    Thanks
    Greg

Perhaps the LPT1 has been disabled in the BIOS? Worth a look, anyway.

It's marvellous the way manufacturers modify your software, and assume that their stuff is so good that you would never want to use anything else. ;-)
